Me olemme sitä mieltä, että MET-toiminta on tärkeä osa modernia ja laadukasta sairaalaa!

Tiedämme, että Suomesta löytyy monta hyvää, toimivaa mallia miten toteuttaa MET-toiminta. Nämä mallit ovat usein rakennettu tyhjästä - alusta asti suurella sydämellä. MET-aktiiviset ympäri Suomen ovat panostaneet lukemattomia määriä työtunteja oman sairaalansa hyväksi. 

Tavoitteenamme on yhdistää voimia niin, että voimme saavuttaa tehokasta ja yhtenäistä tapaa toimia ja myös tarjota tukea heille, jotka ovat vasta aloittamassa. Pyörää ei pidä keksiä montaa kertaa.

Tässä ohessa on Michael DeVitan terveiset kaikille MET-aktiivisille, jotka haluavat olla mukana kehittämässä Suomen MET-toimintaa.

I therefore welcome and endorse the effort to unite Finland’s approach to Rapid Response Systems. The system is complex and structural, educational, and attitude changes are needed to be successful and realize the huge lifesaving potential of the system. The system goes beyond the team and includes training for professionals who call for the team and training for the responders. There is now a wealth of experience in Rapid Resonse Systems that those in Finland can use as a starting point, upon which they will build the system to best address Finland’s unique needs.
